Leading : Climbing up and clipping quickdraw’s as you go. Enables routes without top-ropes to be climbed safely.

Quickdraw’s : Attached to the wall at around every 2 meters, their purpose is to be clipped into by the rope to limit falls should they occur.

Top-Roping : Climbing up a wall with the rope already passing through the top of the wall and back to the ground. In the event of a fall there is always a rope from above to catch the climber.
